Orangetheory group training sessions are never exactly the same, but we guarantee you a great full body workout using cardiovascular and strength training. During your session, you can expect intervals of treadmill training, indoor rowing, and weight room or resistance training blocks in an energizing workout led by one of our highly experienced gym trainers.
During your session, you will be provided a heart rate monitor and POD to monitor your session, which we like to call the Orange 60. During the course of the hour, you will perform multiple intervals which have been designed to produce 12-20 minutes of training at 84% of your max heart rate or zones 4/5. This will produce excess post-exercise oxygen consumption (EPOC), which is like an "after-burn" effect. After your session, your body will continue needing oxygen at a higher rate than before you began exercising, which is known as oxygen debt. The body continues to use oxygen and burn calories at a higher rate as if you were still working out, for up to 36 hours after you have finished your session.
